[AKA: About Me]
I have been a photographer of sorts for most of my life. Like many who are professional photographers, I have been interested in images for as long as I can remember. Whether it be with the point and shoot cameras I used through my earlier years to adding a kilo of disposable cameras to my gear whilst on exercise in the army.
Previously my photography has been secondary to other passions. This has given me unique and varied experiences in life and a rich breadth of knowledge from which to inform my photography.
I'm a self confessed news and media addict, and have strong convictions when it comes to journalistic ethics and the rights of journalists to expose genuine illegal practices, but not to snoop and gossip about celebrities' private lives.
I'm keen to move beyond "just taking images" and I am working hard to improve my writing and push my self to be a better all round journalist.
